Angelos Angelidis
Film and Video Editor
Born in Athens in 1976, it is at the age of 17 that Angelos departs for England to study film and video. His interest in the diversity of the arts, along with the freedom to experiment that his university studies offer, lead him to explore such disciplines as fine arts, video installation, physical theatre and performance art.
After graduation, he enters a Physical Theatre and Circus Arts school; a pivotal change which will open different horizons. After two years of activity in this new direction, followed by 18 months of obligatory Greek military service, he arrives in Paris, where he enjoys a successful career as a professional trapeze artist.
All the while, in a small room in his caravan, he satisfies his love for film by creating promotional videos for shows and fellow artists. Angelos will finally leave the circus behind, in order to dedicate himself fully to this practice and more precisely to his ultimate passion: film editing.
